Nobody knows better than Nikon how to combine grater precision with easier operation-- so you can concentrate on your product and not on your equipment.

    The new V-12B Series profile projectors: they're heir to all the b features of the previous model V-12A, but with enhanced, more versatile functions. These projectors accept larger stages, and ure higher accuracy thanks to the movable head during focusing. They are also completely user-friendly, complete with a built-in Dial XY Counter and Dial Protractor Counter. What's more, the V-12B lets you easily view erect images, making the profile projector a pure joy to use.

    The V-12B Series optical Comparators have enhanced features for improved precision and ease of operation. They feature a vertically moving head and accommodate stages with travel up to 8" for measuring larger specimens. The V-12B Series provides erect unreversed images with b brightness and clarity. The V-12B Series has a unique vertical/oblique switchable surface illuminator for accurate observation and measurement of virtually any te of groove or defect. The contour illumination is telecentric for increased measurement accuracy. The V-12B Series has a full line of projection lenses, 5x-500x that mount in a rotating turret that will hold three projection lenses. All projection lenses are par-centered an par-focal for quick accurate magnification changes. The V-12BS features fixed projection screen. The V-12BDC has 360° rotatable screen, built in dial protractor counter and dial counter.

    Accurate measurement of larger specimens

    Thanks to a head section that can be moved vertically, the V-12B Series can measure larger specimens. You can mount your choice of stages 50 x 50mm(2.0 x 2.0in.), 100 x 50mm (4.0 x 2.0 in.), 100 x 100mm (4.0 x 4.0 in.), 150 x 100mm (5.9 x 4.0 in.) or even 200 x 150mm (7.9 x 5.9 in.) (the longest measuring range). Since three adjusters maintain the main body 2mm above the surface, it is not affected by, irregular work surface of the working stand. As a result, the measuring accuracy is remarkably improved.

    The V-12B Series accommodates a specimen height of up to 100mm (4.0 in), compared to 75mm (3.0 in.), for conventional models. Thorough CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) structural ysis has made it possible to extend the maximum specimen height and to mount a larger stage without making the projectors body larger.

    The erect image of the V 12B Series retains the ior quality, brightness and clarity that is expected from Nikon.

    Adoption of built-in Dial Protractor Counter (for V-12BDC and V 12BD) and built in Dial XY Counter (for V-12BDC and V 12BSC) for ergonomic operation.

    Built-in vertical/oblique switchable surface illuminator enables accurate abservation  and measurement of virtually any te of groove or defect.

    A zoom-te condenser lens is used for continuous setting in contour illumination to ensure optimum setting according to the magnification of the projection lens. The 200 and 500x projection lens and CF M Plan objectives should be used with a DIA Condenser Lens.
