無刷自控電機軟起動器是將起動電阻直接安裝在電動機的轉(zhuǎn)軸上，利用電機旋轉(zhuǎn)時產(chǎn)生的離心力作為動力，控制起動電阻的大小，達到減少電機起動電流、增加起動轉(zhuǎn)矩，使繞線式異步電動機實現(xiàn)無刷自控運行的裝置。它主要由機殼、起動液、動極板、彈簧、接線柱、安全閥、排氣閥等構(gòu)成。該起動器具有起動電流小，起動轉(zhuǎn)矩大，自動適應(yīng)電源及負載的變化，保護電機等特點。廣泛應(yīng)用于冶金、機械、石油、化工、礦山、建材、造紙、橡膠、水廠、電站等所有工業(yè)領(lǐng)域的球磨機、破碎機、風(fēng)機、水泵、打漿機、空壓機、軋機、熱磨機、制氧機等電機傳動設(shè)備中繞線式異步電動機的起動。它可以代替繞線電機的滑環(huán)、碳刷及其起動裝置。

能在保持電機起動轉(zhuǎn)矩不變的情況下，使起動電流從7Ie降到1.6Ie，并能以轉(zhuǎn)矩起動電機。它由電阻起動裝置發(fā)展而來，具有如下創(chuàng)新點：
1、徹底根除使用滑環(huán)、碳刷時所造成的各種危害。去掉傳統(tǒng)、復(fù)雜的起動裝置，操作方便，并可減少維修費用。
2、節(jié)省安裝空間和二次回路電纜，減少起動裝置的功率消耗，節(jié)約了電能。
3、起動控制由起動器根據(jù)電機的轉(zhuǎn)速自動完成，徹底避免了其它起動裝置不能根據(jù)負載的大小，自動跟蹤電機起動過程而造成電機或起動器損壞等不良現(xiàn)象。
4、電機運轉(zhuǎn)過程中，如出現(xiàn)堵轉(zhuǎn)現(xiàn)象，隨著電機轉(zhuǎn)速的降低，起動器會自動投入運行，達到增加電機轉(zhuǎn)矩，減少起動電流的目的。
5、克服了定子控制式電機軟起動器的起動轉(zhuǎn)矩與起動電流的平方成正比這一缺陷，在降低電機起動電流的同時，增加電機起動轉(zhuǎn)矩，并能以轉(zhuǎn)矩起動電機，采用無刷運行，去掉了傳統(tǒng)、 繁瑣、多觸點元件組成的起動裝置，其起動裝置的功率損耗及電機的起動時間比定子控制式電機軟起動器減少10倍以上，但起動器的綜合價格不及其它軟起動器的1/3。
6、起動電阻直接安裝在電動機的轉(zhuǎn)軸上，利用電機旋轉(zhuǎn)時產(chǎn)生離心力作為動力，控制電阻的大小，達到減少電機起動電流、增加起動轉(zhuǎn)矩，實現(xiàn)無刷自控運行的目的。
7、采用防銹、防變質(zhì)、防凍(冰點心-25℃)、防沸(沸點為120 ℃)的四防起動液，提高起動器的使用壽命。
8、設(shè)置安全排氣閥，在電機轉(zhuǎn)速達到額定轉(zhuǎn)速后，自動打開排氣閥，保證起動器的安全可靠運行。

5、Conquering the default that square of starting current is proportional to torque on stator controlled motor soft-starter with starting current. increasing the motor torque when reducing the current. adopting brushless running, it is 10 times to save the power and starting times.however, the price is not reached 1/3 than other soft-starter.
